About this app

Download the NUS Next Bus application to get up-to-the-minute bus schedules and be informed well ahead of the next bus’ arrival time. The application also comes with detailed maps of the bus stop locations and the user’s current location within NUS.

What you can find in the application:
• The bus stop nearest to your current location along with map and distance to the bus stop.
• Lists down all the bus stops on campus sorted according to the nearest one first.
• Arrival time and the next bus arrival timing of all the buses in each bus stop.
• And last but not least, all respective internal bus routes – reference from each bus stop – at a glance.

Ratings and reviews

Not sure why the low ratings. Works well and even has regular external bus service timings integrated in app now.

This is an excellent update. One potential improvement is that if one can observe where the bus is heading to -- for some routes like D2, the direction of the bus is not clearly distinguishable. The to/from Utown routes overlap and all can be seen on the map is that somewhere lies a bus. Can the app, under this situation, allow user to click on that bus and show its direction?

The ad popup makes this app almost unusable. The popup attempts to load upon app launch and nothing else displays until the ad popup is loaded, but it requires a very stable connection to load. If you get disconnected before it loads - e.g when you are making your way between classes (90% of usage time) the popup loads forever even if u get reconnected. Coupled with the fact that univus REQUIRES one to be connected to NUS WIFI, this makes the app unusable. Use an integrated banner, it's 2021.
