Truly an awesome game michael. I mean truly! The concept behind the game is so simple yet so captivating. The controls are second to none. The realistic vr is not of this world. The addition of the cat really bring realism to the game and gives a warm touch to it. The only thing michael is my boating buddies and I cannot enjoy the experience together, what I am saying michael I would throughly enjoy a multiplayer experience. Yours sincerely a new friend.

Thank you for this awesome review. :-) Multiplayer is on my to-do list. I won't promise when & how though.

Very nicely observed - clearly the developer knows narrowboats! I live on one, so I really like the little touches like the cat and the wash. The different camera angles are fun too. Obviously you don't get the physical sense of the weight of the boat as you are hanging on the tiller & praying she'll turn in time, but the controls and movement are very good. I clunked the app boat just as often as I clunk my real one! Nice little game.

Thank you! I experienced how stubborn a real narrowboat can be this summer. Our wonderful 60ft hireboat was named after a horse and also quite often had some mind of its/her own.

It doesnt really add anything new to the genre of narrowboating games. But it is optimized well enough. I think my main problems are with the ui - it doesnt look professional, and is unintuitive - also, having buttons everywhere just looks messy. They need to be organised more. It has a little bit of its own character due to okay art direction and graphics, and a non-moving cat, but nothing really quirky. It otherwise has decent focus and you get into the action pretty fast.

The in-game UI will be updated a bit in the next version. Mostly to slightly improve usabilty on smaller devices so it still might not suit you. A moving cat (at one place) was actually planned+implemented but cancelled due to severe compatibility issues on some devices. Thank you for your review!

What’s new

V 1.10:
Just some minor adjustments:
- Touchscreen controls updated
I hope it does now work slightly better on smaller screens.
- Background music and title screen updated.
- Added Maps (See Maps button before starting a task).
- New Game Engine version (Godot Engine 3.2)
(If you see wrong colors on older devices then try to change Shadow Range to 0 in Options - Performance)
