About this app

The IAP ERMS app opens access to a georeferenced rescue, information and communication system in German. The IAP-ERMS app has established itself as a protective technology and as a constantly present safety reserve for people and material (in connection with cargo systems) by providing a graduated emergency warning system and by monitoring movements (image of air and ground movements of all kinds) in real time in the In - and abroad thanks to its practical configuration and high imaging/positioning accuracy.

The IAP ERMS app is part of an integrated security system and is connected to IAP's georeferenced situational picture and command and control information system (IAP-InfoSys). By providing geo-referenced information, the app increases safety and the activation and precision of the rescue chain in special situations. The overall system (core module IAP InfoSys) and the ERMS system (additional module) are used by state authorities and the security departments of companies.

The IAP app is divided into an SOS function, an emergency pre-warning function (emergency function), an ERMS-CHAT system with photo documentation function, a country information system and practical supplementary services to increase security abroad/travel. The functionalities of the app can only be used after connecting to the existing Internet/GSM/GPS networks. The SOS and positioning/tracking system can be individually activated or deactivated by the user.

use
The IAP ERMS app is only activated by providing a license (under app settings) (preset for IAP smartphones, for other smartphones you will receive the code from your organization manager). The IAP app can only be used on the smartphone after entering the license code in the Device ID section. For all system functions and configurations, the smartphone must have contact with GSM/GPS, only then can the app functions be used.

Data storage and data protection information:
The IAP-ERMS app sends data through the integrated tracking/location and communication system that is only and directly accessible to the security department of the organization using it and is stored exclusively on an IAP server in a high-security data center in Germany in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data obtained in the system is stored encrypted exclusively in Germany according to the specifications of your organization and deleted again according to specifications.
The user company decides how long the data is stored, not IAP GmbH. IAP only executes the length of the desired data storage or its deletion. If the company/organization does not issue any instructions to IAP GmbH, the data will be automatically deleted every two months. The data is stored and deleted in compliance with the GDPR, as well as being auditable and legally secure.
