About this app
The FireTextResponse Android Application allows Fire Fighters, EMT's, Paramedics, Rescue Squads, Emergency Management Personnel, or any public safety agency to receive fast alert messaging for incident calls, additional incident information, CAD Address information with narrative, GPS Mapping, and actual Page Audio of the dispatched incident. Plus know the responders status to the incident, are they responding to the station, on scene, delayed, not available for the call, and more.

FireTextResponse is a stand alone system, there is no dispatch interfacing required.
This application will not work unless first authorized by the agency from which emergency notifications will be generated. The app must also be re-authorized when replacing existing phone or after any major reset.
You must be authorized by your agency specifically to use this app.

App works as expected, but after the update in August,I had to reprovision my phone/number and caused some confusion in response to calls. Talking with some members of my dept. seems to be predominantly Samsung devices.

With the most recent update this week I can no longer play audio on my Google pixel phone. The prompt says to download Google play music. That app is no longer active.

Update to the latest version 1.1.44 will correct the issue and ask you which player you want to use.

This app is great. The customer service is always spot on. If there is something wrong with your paging system or with app support for phones, they are on it almost immediately.
