Virtually the entire content was taken from the booklet Moje modlitba, which contains both basic and less well-known prayers. The quotes displayed on the home screen were taken from the book Be not afraid and translated into Slovak. Of course, other sources are not excluded, but in general, the rule for adding content to this application is approval by the Catholic Church on behalf of the official authority. For each prayer, where relevant, the Imprimarur is listed in the information.
The prayer bar also offers the option to read the displayed text by pressing the appropriate icon, the text will stop reading after leaving the screen or pressing the back button. For this functionality to work properly, you may need to set the Text-to-speech output in the phone settings to Slovak.
The application allows you to enlarge and reduce the font so that the text can be meditated on better. For better reading in the dark, you can set the dark mode in your profile after logging in. We want to create a prayer community and encourage each other, testify and inspire each other. Join us.

Avoid the magical understanding of prayer – having God only to automatically fulfill your wishes. Accept everything from God's hand in your time and way. Believe that He is truly alive, and that He hears and sees everything in your heart. Believe that He is truly kind. Do not be afraid of various states of dryness and despondency and do not succumb to emotional fluctuations, moodiness. Practice stability and acceptance and overcoming all states of the soul in constant faithfulness to God.
The best prayer is an inner, sincere and constant relationship and contact with the Lord in the mind, heart, will, feelings and your whole being. Prayer is not only verbal, but can become everything you think, say or do. It is the directing of your heart to the Lord, says St. John Chrysostom. And never forget – if you want to learn to pray well, you need to go to the school of our heavenly Mother, the Virgin Mary. Always call her to pray with you. Ask her to guide you and keep your heart in prayer. Put your prayers in her hands and she will present them to her Son. If you do not abandon her, she will remain with you and lead you to where your heart will find the peace you seek. Already here on earth and if you persevere to the end, also in the kingdom of heaven.
