We’ve become so used to wasting time on our devices. Scrolling, flicking, swiping through news, social media, photos of your cat… What would it look like if we started 'wasting time' with God? Redeeming Time is built to help us do just that by putting that time into reading the Bible.

Just What I Needed. Like many of us I'm battling addiction to my smartphone. Seems every spare minute I'm searching through a social media dumpster looking for a quick endorphin hit. The Redeeming Time app is just what I needed to turn my screen addiction into a discipline for building godliness. I love that it matches the time I have available to a complete chapter of the Word of God. Those "in between" time segments throughout my day are better used and I'm encouraged. We are what we eat.

I downloaded this app to spend more time reading the bible instead of scrolling through rubbish. It is very easy to use and I like that you just enter how much time you have and appropriate length passages are presented to choose from. There are then prompts for follow up prayers, which is helpful, though they're the same after every passage.

This app is unique and very purposeful! I love the concept and how it is designed. It is very easy to use and has been a huge blessing in helping me to read whole books of the Bible at one sitting (or a few sittings for a larger book). This app has really made me see that although I do feel very busy, I have time to read whole books at one time and to be able to enjoy the literary flow on God's word.
