My calendar is scattered among several org-mode files on my computer. I export the calendar entries to a .ics file that is synced to my phone. This app is the vital piece in the puzzle thats let me import that data quickly and easily into a local calendar on my phone. For me, this is the perfect setup. All credit to the developer for producing such a useful app.

Great app for organising calendars, a lot better than the built-in calendar app. Although there is no need to force me to enter a fake email address to create an offline calendar. Other apps like Etar do allow you to create calendars by just providing a name.

Hi, unfortunately it is required :-) As this email is the organizer of the events. Anyways this email is just locally stored. Then i have to recheck this, I know there was a reason for that. Maybe its not needed anymore. Regards Lukas

Works well most of the time, some of my imported events keep being imported, leading to 20+ duplicate entries over time. If I understand correctly, the tagging should prevent this but it does not work well. Would be nice to have a fix for this, because this is getting annoying. - edit: I have now sent an error report, the issue seems to be present in events which are repeating but have exceptions to the repeat rule.
