Limited over matches have been the main focus of development for Cricket Captain 2022, with new ball impact and swing movement balanced to reduce the wickets lost in white ball matches. Batsmen also settle more quickly, making collapses less prevalent. The aggression system mirrors a player’s real strike rate precisely, modelling boundary hitting and accumulation ability. With new separate aggression ratings for all players for First Class and Limited Over match types, white ball cricket has never been as dynamic.

Cricket Captain 2022 features all domestic system changes, and a database update, including new international home and away player stats.

Ratings and reviews

Its interesting. Close to good. Fielders might as well not exist. 99.9% of balls go straight through them. Bowlers dont seem to bowl to plan. Pretty easy to get good scores. Zero explanation how the game functionality works. This could be a good game with a little more effort. Fyi. I installed this after seeing an advert for the android 2024 version...but its not in the app store so i tried this one. wierd.

I don't think that this game has lived up to its potential. Yes its good in the sense that you get to manage cricket teams and use your knowledge of the game but the graphics are sub-standard, the commentary is poor and it's almost like even though you change the field, change batsman's aggression or the bowlers line or length you really and truly don't have much control over the game, the opponent always has the advantage.

Its all about adapting to changes if you guys not going to add new features in the game then how die hard old fans of this game will keep on buying it? Its been more then two years since review system is implemented in the game and you guys are not still able to add this feature in the game. Just changing interface or layout every year is not enough. Get you developers on the work and make them code the review system.
