The EV Smart app is the simplest way to find and use an EV charge point. With the EV Smart app you can locate charging stations, manage your favourite charging locations, reserve charging, manage your charging sessions and pay with your pre-saved credit card or pre-paid balance of your account.

Ratings and reviews

Dreadful experience all round. App would not download. A colleague downloaded it, processed payment method multiple times and was not able to give payment / activate charge. Eventually activated a charge but then tripped out after a few seconds and unable to try again as £1 bill outstanding. Customer service took my details, and then hung up never to call back. Textbook execution of how to put somebody off from driving electric!

Very very awkward UI to make this app work. You need to type +44 (with the plus symbol) to get it to work. Very awkward to use

Map does not show EV Smart stations in USA (Maryland). Probably works in UK only.
