I purchased the Volumio Rivo Plus and it's just so bad. When you turn it on, it takes several minutes to boot up. Why? No other streamer does that. I have to connect on WiFi for it to work. Why? If I have an issue with the connection (common), I might have to do all sorts of things before I can get it to finally work again. Right now, I'm 20 minutes in and I still can't connect. It remains undetected. I tried to use HDMI to get the settings on screen but HDMI is just a black screen. I hate Rivo+

Thanks for your feedback. The Rivo Plus runs on Volumio OS, so boot-up takes a bit longer, like other OS-based streamers. A stable network is essential since it’s a network streamer. Terrible, negligent, disrespectful thing disguised as an app. It takes over the phone's volume if you're in WiFi, which means if you're listening to music on your phone directly and then you walk into the home where Volumio may play on your home system, chances are you'll damage your hearing. It's not unacceptable, it's a liability and this has been going on for many months (years?). It's insulting to people paying for their Volumio subscription.

Can't move away from app to another app on phone without it losing connection to server. And when it does lose connection -- or when first trying to connect -- often have to reboot phone to get it to connect. Not even doing a "force stop" in phone settings will clear its freeze-up on connection. That's absurd -- no other app I use requires a phone restart.
