BioLeaf - Foliar Analysis™ identifies automatically the injured leaf regions caused by insect herbivory and then estimates the defoliation percentage related to the total area by using images either captured from the phone or loaded from the photo gallery.

After leaving a comment, the developers fixed an issue I was having and I can confirm that the app works great now. I needed this app for a class so thank you very much for resolving the issue! ***Resolved, original review Similar to others I can't get the app open my camera nor open my gallery so the app isnt usable.

Hi Kathi, thank you for reporting the issue to us. You can test it again. We identified the main reason and fixed it: Google changed the security permissions for the camera and photo gallery access. You can email us if the error persists, telling us your Android and mobile versions. :)

Worst app ever created!!! Force closes every single time you click on whatever catagory whether it be taking a picture analysis or choosing from the gallery. The developers created a useless app that doesn't work AT ALL. Wanted to get a better analysis but came to a dead end with this pathetic excuse for a foliar app.

Daniel Barnard. WE FIXED IT. Some policies have changed by Google and our app stopped working for a while, true. However, I gently asked you by email to try again after this review. You're a Prof. at Iowa U., so you could moderate your tone. If you have any doubt, please send us an email. Our app is freely available and it is very good.

I cannot get it to take a picture nor look at my gallery. The only option that work is tutorial and open a sample.

Can you check now please. It should work perfectly. Thank for reporting the issue to us. We cant see your mobile version nor android version. You can email us as well with such info.
