About this app

Authenticator is an authenticator app for two-factor authentication (2FA). It works as a 2FA code generator: it makes the one-time codes that websites and apps ask for at sign-in when an account is protected with an authenticator app (TOTP). The codes are made right on your phone, so a stolen password alone does not open your account.

Works with Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Binance, Coinbase, GitHub and other services when they offer TOTP setup

ADD A 2FA ACCOUNT IN SECONDS
• Turn on 2-step verification on a website or app and scan its QR code. Authenticator then shows a verification code you can enter when you sign in.
• Or choose a picture of the QR code, paste the setup link, or type the key.
• Works with websites and apps that support time-based one-time passwords (TOTP).
• 6- and 8-digit codes, 30- and 60-second periods.
• Microsoft accounts too, including Outlook, Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID sign-ins, where the account supports third-party TOTP codes.

• Import your time-based (TOTP) accounts from Google Authenticator: scan the QR codes it shows under Transfer accounts.
• Encrypted backup and sync through your Google Drive. Every copy is encrypted with a password only you know.

• Deleted an account by mistake? Restore it from Recently deleted within 7 days of deletion.
