The ResusciTech lay-responder certificate is OSHA and American Heart Association compliant and anyone can earn it anytime, anywhere, in 90 minutes or less.

This training course includes gamified learning activities, short video demonstrations, and guided hands-on chest compression practice. All you need to complete this course is your phone and a couch seat cushion for chest compression practice.

Ratings and reviews

The app doesn't accout for the button location for using an Android on the chest compressions, more applicable for an iPhone based on the graphic they showed, so it was kind of tricky getting a solid hold on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It would be easier to hold the phone at the base while doing the chest compressions; no buttons to worry about at all.

Nice and convenient, yet effective. I loved that the material was simple, clear and to the point. The hands on experience was great too (a little challenging to hold the phone while performing CPR, but you get a hang of it). Videos were great, as well as other visuals and questions along the way. I would definitely recommend this course!

I was glad to have this as an option to renew my CPR certification. I have no idea how many times I've been certified at this point, but this app gave me a convenient and fairly quick re-cert. The information was thoroughly concise. The only "problem" I encountered was finding a cushion of appropriate depth to use for compression practice, but after a few tries, I found a suitable one.
