The ResusciTech lay-responder certificate is OSHA and American Heart Association compliant and anyone can earn it anytime, anywhere, in 90 minutes or less.

This training course includes gamified learning activities, short video demonstrations, and guided hands-on chest compression practice. All you need to complete this course is your phone and a couch seat cushion for chest compression practice.

If I could give this app zero stars I would. This app will make you go through the lessons multiple times and do the test twice. It doesn't take into consideration the sizing of the phone or the fact that it's hard to do chest compressions while holding a giant phone between your hands. I have near destroyed my wrists trying to do the test. I had to exit out of the app to give my wrists a break and now I have to waste another 20 minutes of my life to do the same training AGAIN.

Overall using the app was easy and it helped to see the timing and rhythm you need for the compressions. I liked it my only downside was that I had to have tech support help me get into the app and that took a while to fix it. The tech support representative was very polite and professional when responding to me.

The app doesn't accout for the button location for using an Android on the chest compressions, more applicable for an iPhone based on the graphic they showed, so it was kind of tricky getting a solid hold on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It would be easier to hold the phone at the base while doing the chest compressions; no buttons to worry about at all.
