Aro combines a beautifully designed smart box (required) that holds and charges your phone with a motivating app that together, make it easy and fun to be away from your phone and help you focus on what's truly important to you.

Paired with the smart box, the Aro app gamifies the experience of putting down your phone. It helps you set personalized goals, and motivates and encourages you to build the habit of putting down your phone.

HOW IT WORKS
Simply drop your phone in the Aro smart box. It automatically connects to the Aro app using Bluetooth, starts measuring your time away, and charges your phone while you recharge. When you are ready to come back to your phone, just grab it and tag your session to track how you used your intentional time.

I really want to like this app, but it is so glitchy. My phone wants to put the app in deep sleep because it keeps crashing, and several other phones in our household don't record Aro time at all. This is too expensive for that to keep happening. My kids don't even care anymore about trying to earn Aro time, which is the main reason we bought into this. The people at Aro were friendly in trying to help. They even sent a new box. This review is not for that but for the app itself.

Buggy! The box doesn't work to start sessions, sessions timeout over night.

Customer service is great. The box wasn't working at first, but I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and everything is working great!
