About this app

CodeGreen ITM is the field app for fire and life safety inspections, built by a NICET Level IV fire alarm contractor for the shops the big platforms were never priced for.

WHAT IT INSPECTS

• Fire alarm, plus the NFPA 72 Record of Completion for new and modified systems
• Water-based systems per NFPA 25: fire sprinkler, standpipe and hose, private fire service mains, fire pump, water storage tank, water spray, foam-water and water mist
• Kitchen hoods and exhaust cleaning per NFPA 96, with suppression per NFPA 17A
• Fire doors per NFPA 80
• Fire extinguishers
• Emergency lighting
• Call for aid
• Auxiliary systems: panic and duress buttons, water and flood sensors, temperature and freeze sensors
• Security: intrusion, video, camera cleaning, access control and intercom
• Visual inspections

WHAT A TECHNICIAN DOES WITH IT

• Sees the day's scheduled stops, with the site contacts and notes for each one, and plans the driving order.
• Answers only the questions that apply to the system in front of them. A water-based visit asks exactly the items due at its interval.
• Records measurements on scroll wheels instead of typing.
• Photographs deficiencies and records what was found, replaced, or resolved.
• Shares a large job with a crew, area by area. Each technician signs for their areas, and the lead submits once for everyone.
• Captures signatures onsite.
• Sends the finished inspection to the office in one tap.

BUILT FOR NO SIGNAL

A mechanical room in a basement is the normal case, not the exception. Inspections, photos and signatures are held on the phone and sync when signal returns.

WHAT THE OFFICE SEES

Inspections arrive with the equipment, answers, readings, deficiencies and photos attached, and each code-compliant report is built from live data rather than a snapshot taken at submission. Equipment and question libraries for every service come pre-populated, so setup is your AHJs and your systems, not a month of data entry.

• Every error shows an Error ID the CodeGreen team can look up.
