About this app

Music controls missing in your navigation app? FloatOver adds a floating music widget that stays on top of maps, navigation and any other Android app.

Play, pause and skip in any player that shows standard Android media controls: music streaming apps, local music players, podcasts and audiobooks. The music overlay follows whichever app is playing, so you keep the same controls when you switch from music to a podcast.

Highlights:
• Floating music player controls: Previous, Play/Pause, Next and seek
• Works with any app that provides standard Android media controls; tested with YouTube Music
• Stays on top of Google Maps, Waze and other navigation apps
• Compact and expanded modes with track title, artist and playback progress when available
• Movable panel: place it where it does not cover your route
• 14 days of full access, followed by an optional one-time lifetime purchase
• No subscription, advertising, analytics or FloatOver account

FloatOver requires Android's “Display over other apps” access to show the panel and notification access to connect to the active media session. A persistent service notification is shown while the panel is active. Media information is processed on your device and is not transmitted by FloatOver. FloatOver does not sign in to any music service and does not access your accounts, playlists or library.

Set up FloatOver before driving. Follow local laws and interact with your device only when it is safe.

FloatOver is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, YouTube, Waze or any music service. Product names are used only to describe compatibility.
