**MihirakiPDFViewer** is a modern, privacy-focused PDF reader designed specifically for an optimal reading experience of two-page spreads and right-to-left (R2L) documents, such as Japanese Manga and Light Novels.

### ✨ Key Features
- 📖 **Seamless Two-Page Spreads**: View two pages side-by-side. Perfect for immersive art and manga layouts.
- 📑 **PDF Table of Contents (Outline) Tree Navigation**: Automatically extracts bookmarks and chapters from PDF metadata for instant jumping to any section.
- ☰ **Top Bar Dropdown Menu & Dedicated Screens**: Quick access to Settings, Help, Version, Diagnostics, and Support from the top bar menu, featuring an accordion Help screen and dedicated Version & Diagnostics screens.
- 🔄 **Smart Auto-Detection**: Automatically detects page layout and reading direction from PDF metadata for a zero-config experience.
- 🇯🇵 **Native R2L Support**: Full support for right-to-left reading order, including inverted sliders and swipe gestures.
- 🔍 **Precise Search & Highlighting**: Fast text search with clear, accurate hit highlighting on the document (yellow background and red border).
- 🖱️ **Mouse & Edge-Click Navigation**: Intuitive page turning by clicking the left and right edges on desktop/mouse navigation mode, configurable in Settings.
- 📱 **Adaptive Portrait Display**: Automatically switches to single-page display in portrait orientation (defaulting to single-page on smartphones, configurable in Settings).
- 🎨 **Adaptive UI & Foldable Support**: Responsive design using constraints that adapts seamlessly across phones, tablets, and foldables.
- 📋 **Diagnostics & Persistent Logging**: In-app device diagnostic testing and local app log management (stored securely locally for up to 24 hours, with zero personal/file data logging and no automatic external transmission).

### 🛡️ Privacy & Security
- **Local Processing**: Your documents never leave your device. All rendering and searching are done locally.
- **Minimum Permissions**: We don't ask for broad storage access. Using the Storage Access Framework (SAF), the app only accesses the files you explicitly choose.
- **Offline Capable**: No internet connection is required to read local files.

### 💖 Support Development
This app is ad-free and free to use. All core features, including PDF viewing, spreads, and search, are fully available for free without any restrictions. If you find the app helpful, you can support further development via optional non-consumable in-app tips (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Ver.2.0 Release Commemoration Koyomi Badge tiers, with promo code support) which unlock commemorative supporter badges in settings.
