About this app

FPV Scanner for HackRF turns your phone and a USB SDR receiver into a complete radio-band scanner: from FM stations and handheld radios to analog FPV video from drones on 1.2 and 5.8 GHz.

FOUR RECEIVERS TO CHOOSE FROM
• HackRF One — 1–7250 MHz, 20 MSPS: video, radios, a fast sweep of the whole band in seconds.
• ADALM-Pluto — 325–3800 MHz (70–6000 MHz when unlocked), over USB or network.
• RigExpert Fobos SDR — 50–6900 MHz, up to 50 MSPS.
• RTL-SDR (RTL2832U with an R820T/R820T2/R828D tuner) — both RTL-SDR Blog dongles and ordinary "DVB-T+DAB+FM" sticks: 24–1766 MHz for radios, FM, airband and spectrum.
Plug the receiver in via an OTG cable — the app detects and configures it by itself.

DRONE VIDEO
• Automatic search for analog FPV video (PAL/NTSC) across all channels from 0.9 to 7.2 GHz or in a range you choose: every signal is verified by the built-in decoder and the picture is shown.
• Colour picture with automatic frequency control, automatic gain and noise reduction; a dedicated sync-lock mode for weak signals.
• Record video to a file, auto-record everything that is found.
• Fast sweep: HackRF and Pluto cover the entire band in a few seconds.
• Driving mode: continuous search, snapshots of found channels in a 2×4 grid and a beep on every new find.

RADIOS AND THE BAND
• Real-time spectrum and waterfall, 3D view, pinch to zoom, tune by dragging the plot.
• Panorama: spectrum and waterfall over a whole band of your choice (even 1000–6000 MHz) — the receiver sweeps it continuously; pinch to zoom.
• Narrowband search below 1 GHz: FM broadcast, NFM/AM radios, airband; digital channels are labelled separately.
• Listen right from the list of finds: NFM, WFM, AM, squelch.
• DJI DroneID (OcuSync 2/3): model, serial number, drone and pilot coordinates, altitude, speed, home point.

CONVENIENT
• Local-network web page: spectrum, video and audio on another phone or computer; a Wi-Fi hotspot can be switched on right from the app.
• Everything is automatic: gain, sample rate, video standard and polarity.
• Interface in 12 languages.

PRICING
The free version has full functionality with 60 minutes of receiver use per day; the minutes renew every day. The full version removes the time limit forever: a one-time in-app purchase, no subscriptions, no ads, no accounts.

REQUIREMENTS
• A receiver (sold separately) and an OTG cable or hub with external power — the boards draw up to 0.5 A.
• A phone with USB Host (OTG), Android 8.1 or newer.

The app only receives and never transmits. It collects and sends no data — see the privacy policy. Receiving radio signals may be regulated in your country — use the app within the law.

What’s new

Sample rate: full list for every receiver (Fobos SDR up to 50 MSPS) on all platforms and in the web interface; previously the list was cut at 16 MSPS.
Free version: the 60 minutes per day are counted by real receiver time (with ADALM-Pluto the counter ran three times slower).
