About this app

Stop freezing when you speak. Start practicing for real.

If you can understand a language but freeze when it’s your turn to answer, Lua Cafe is for you.

Speak out loud in real conversations and get corrected instantly. No flashcards. No drills.

Talk to Lua about anything — your day, your trip, your plans, or a conversation you want to rehearse before it happens.

Lua listens as you speak, corrects what you said, explains why, and replies out loud with a realistic voice so the conversation keeps moving.

Tap any word or phrase for instant translations and mini-lessons. Get grammar explanations based on your actual mistakes — not generic exercises.

Practice 30+ languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, and more.

Finally, the speaking practice you needed.

Ratings and reviews

this app is brilliant at keeping you engaged helps you practice actually speaking the language rather than repeating the same phrases that you would never actually use in real life.

This is exactly the kind of help that I needed to supplement my in person class and my AI tutorial that I created for writing.

useful app. I've just started my italian language journey & using this app as my speaking partner.
