Will update rating later once my new earbuds come. Currently using Pixel Buds, 1st Gen. Eating that extra "oomph" with the bass..Problem is, after a restart (phone, apps), I'm not getting it. Volume dial works on the app, but as far as the pre-sets, there's no difference in sound (including bass dial). Visualizations , I thought they'd react to the music playing. They do not. I'd really like for this app to work. I haven't paid for the premium yet, maybe that's the issue?

Without Premium, most audio effects like presets and bass control are disabled after the trial. That’s likely why you don’t hear changes. Visualizations also need audio processing active. Unlocking Premium restores full functionality-one-time purchase, no subscription.

I love it. The best and only EQ app ill use even though it is a bit quirky. For example, when using with AirPods, their max volume is about 50% of what other headphones I use. In my vehicles, ive noticed the volume will increase a good amount, at least 20% when reconnected to the same device.. ive no idea why it does that, but it happens more than it doesn't and I dont care. I love, love, LOVE the compressor function and wish it was a thing for the Poweramp player as well.

Glad you love it! The volume differences can be due to how each device reports and handles volume control. Great to hear you enjoy the compressor-adding it to Poweramp Player is a popular request and will be considered for future updates.

Best equalizer/bass boosting app I've ever tried. But there's an issue that ruins it for me. It seems that if you have the volume at 34% (or around there) and below, it seems like the bass boosting function significantly reduces or turns off all together after a little bit. For example, if I had my volume at at 40% or higher, the bass boosting works perfectly fine. Then if I reduced it to around 34% , the bass boosting will stay working for about a minute. Please fix! I'm on the Galaxy A54 5G.

Thanks! On Galaxy A54 5G, try enabling “Pipeline Mode” and “Volume Compensation” in settings. Also ensure DVC if active. This should help keep bass boosting consistent at lower volumes.
