SocketAgent connects your Android phone to Claude Code and OpenAI Codex installed on your computer.
Send instructions, follow the agent’s work, approve requests, and pick up existing sessions from your phone. Your agent keeps working on your computer, with access to your projects and tools.
Install the free, open-source SocketAgent server software on your computer and pair it with this app. Connect over your local network, or use the optional encrypted relay when you’re away.
Features include:
• Claude Code and OpenAI Codex support
• Live streamed responses and tool activity
• Session history and session management
• Text and voice input
• File transfer between your phone and computer
• Direct local-network connections
• Optional encrypted relay access for remote connections
• Notifications, scheduled tasks, and reminders
Messages, tool output, and files sent through the relay are end-to-end encrypted. They are encrypted on the sending device and decrypted on the receiving device. The relay, if used, forwards the encrypted data without being able to read its contents.
Your chosen AI provider processes agent requests. Push notifications use Google Firebase and are handled separately from the encrypted connection.
SocketAgent does not provide an AI model or AI subscription. A computer running the SocketAgent server software is required. Claude Code and OpenAI Codex require their own supported accounts and are governed by their providers’ terms. Remote relay access may require a Google Play subscription.
SocketAgent is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI.
