Great and then it wasnt. When I first downloaded and tried this game I loved it. I signed up for a subscription and that's when it went downhill. The app didnt load my subscription so I never got access to more books. I deleted the app and tried reinstalling it to get access and now the app wont install on my phone and I cant use it at all. If you can login and use your subscription its great.. very similar to reading eggs though. So just use that since it doesnt have the technical issues.

Update: All the Square Panda apps were awesome. Then they stopped maintenance and now nothing works. Kids love it. I have a 3 & 5 year old who play many of the Square Panda apps. We haven't experienced the slow loading or crashing that others mention. This game is installed on an LG cellphone and 2 Samsung tablets. The opening of the app is a little slower on the phone, but no problems once the game has started. The games are engaging and even fun to watch the kids play.

These are not polished apps. We just received the hardware as a Christmas present, and opened the apps on an older tablet (Galaxy Tab4) - it worked, but most parts were slow and buggy. We just went to buy a brand new tablet (Galaxy S6 Lite) and now it works a lot better, but there's still a lot of bugs in each app. Like annoying programming errors that make you hard stop and restart the app. There was also a big issue on boxing day with connecting to their server, but it seems to be resolved.
