About this app

Dot connects the three parties to the same task: task providers — maintenance and property managers — the professionals who perform them, and the tenants who requested them. One task in three different accounts.

What Dot can do

• Quickly assign a task to a professional, from the list of properties and professionals saved in the system.
• Manage a renovation, project, or several jobs on the same property in one dedicated folder that contains all the tasks.
• Automatically track the progress of the task, from the moment it is created to its completion by the professional.
• Receive and send notifications, automatic or initiated, to yourself and the professional.
• Communicate with the professional in messages and phone calls from within the task itself, so that all correspondence is saved within it.
• Attach photos and documents, send a transaction invoice and price quotes, and negotiate.
• Make a tender between several professionals.
• Manage a database of properties, professionals, and tenants.
• Synchronize deadlines and record meetings in the app's calendar.
• Manage a private account and a business account separately, and switch between them instantly.
• Allow other account holders to view or operate your account — intended for a business account, so that employees can log in to it.
• Share a task with other professionals, even those who are not performing the work.
• Allow the professional to communicate with the tenants through the task.
• Allow tenants to create an alert about a fault in the property, find out who the professional has been assigned to the job, and coordinate with him to arrive for the work.

Sharing between accounts

Two or more account holders can work together on a shared account. The account creator is the one who manages it, and can set different permissions for each of his partners to perform operations on the account.

Permissions

Four levels of permission, from viewing only to full sharing. A partner with viewing only permission can only view the system but not perform operations on it. A partner with limited permission can create tasks but not edit other partners' tasks. A partner with free editing can create tasks and also edit those of others. A full partner is on an equal footing with the account owner, and is intended for business partners.

Professionals and tenants

Those who receive tasks and do not wish to create tasks for others can change the system interface in the app settings. The professional interface is tailored to the actions they need: the work assigned to them, in which property, who the contacts are, the due date, viewing photos and documents attached to the task, and the ability to upload their own photos. You can contact the task provider and the tenants from within the app, send a quote, and issue a transaction invoice.

The tenants interface is designed to update them on the progress of the work, and for actions such as creating an alert about a fault in the property, uploading photos, describing the fault, and contacting the professional through the app.

Login and Sync

Login is done with just a phone number, no password, and no email. All data is synced in real time between devices, so any changes are immediately visible to the other party.

Privacy

Dot collects only what is necessary to operate: your phone number, the name you chose, and the content you enter yourself — tasks, assets, contacts, and photos. There are no ads, no marketing tracking, and no selling of information to third parties. You can delete your account and all its content from within the app.
