Lynx Launcher is a customizable replacement for your home screen 📲 that provides a focused, clean and unobtrusive user interface.
Inspired by the Gnome Desktop Environment™ for Linux, Lynx Launcher offers all functionalities of a modern home screen without being too complex or distracting.

You can use your favorite icon theme from Google Play, change the shape of the adaptive icons(*) or even change the whole theme of the Launcher.
🌙 Dark mode support
Choose whether Lynx Launcher should use a dark or a light theme or when the dark theme should be used. You can also change the dark mode individually for parts of the app.

Ratings and reviews

This is still a pretty great launcher, very small footprint yet very customizable. One gripe I have had for awhile now though. Why are single finger gestures still not possible? The options are there but for over a year there's been a message stating gesture overridden by system navigation. Switching to button navigation doesn't fix the issue. Only solution is to use two finger gestures which is kind of annoying.

What I've been looking for in a launcher for years. It's fast, lightweight, lets me customize it exactly how I want (Dock on the SIDE! FINALLY I CAN USE THESE HUGE PHONES COMFORTABLY!) I recommend this to anyone looking for a new launcher. My one feature suggestion is to allow the user to set the app drawer to always start at the top, rather than your last scrolled position.

There are things I really like about this launcher, but also a few deal breakers. What I really want in a launcher is a text-only dock without icons, be able to freely add Android widgets (the minimalist launchers don't like that), and a Google Now feed add-on. That is shockingly hard to find in a launcher. That's my holy grail, and this isn't it. I like the look and the integrated Google search, but not enough customization options. Thanks for the effort, though.
