About this app
De+ Driver is the app for delivery partners of the De+ shopping and delivery platform. Apply, get approved, go online, accept orders from nearby shops and deliver them to customers.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with your De+ account, or create one.
2. Apply as a driver with your vehicle type, plate number. The De+ team reviews every application.
3. Once approved, switch to Online to receive delivery orders near you.
4. Collect the order from the shop, deliver it, and confirm with a photo.
FEATURES
- Delivery offers: nearby orders arrive as offers showing the shop, the distance and the delivery fee. Accept or decline within the time shown.
- Orders assigned to you: the De+ dispatch team can assign an order directly to you. You get a loud alarm and a full-screen alert until you tap "I'm on it", so an assigned order is never missed. Turn the alarm on or off in Profile and test it at any time.
- Navigation in Google Maps: one tap opens turn-by-turn directions to the shop or to the customer in the Google Maps app. De+ Driver does not draw its own map.
- Pickup checklist: tick off each item before you leave the shop.
- Contact: call the shop, or call or message the customer, straight from the order screen.
- Proof of delivery: take a photo when you hand over the order.
- Report a problem: tell the dispatch team right away if a customer cannot be reached, the address is wrong, your vehicle breaks down or the shop is late.
- Earnings: see what you earned today, in the last 7 days and this month, with every delivery listed.
- Job history: review your finished deliveries.
- Languages: English, French and Kinyarwanda.
LOCATION
While you are Online or on a delivery, De+ Driver collects your device location, including when the app is closed or not in use. It is used to send you nearby orders and to let customers and De+ follow their delivery. A notification stays visible while location is being shared. Location is not collected when you are Offline.
PERMISSIONS
- Location: to receive nearby orders and share your position during deliveries.
- Notifications: to alert you about new offers and assigned orders.
- Camera: to take the proof-of-delivery photo.
- Full-screen notifications: to show the assignment alarm over the lock screen.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You need an approved De+ driver account to receive orders. New applications are reviewed before you can go online.
- Navigation uses the Google Maps app, which must be installed on your phone.
- You can manage your Notifycode account at profile.notifycode.org.
