We had a disappointing experience with Upwork’s support. I encountered an issue where a payment I sent to a freelancer was declined, possibly due to suspected fraud. I resent the payment and it went through, but we were left confused about whether the initial payment was processed. We reached out to support for clarity, but the response was very slow and unhelpful. Based on this experience, we’re unlikely to use their services again. – Ketsada and Scott

It's fairly decent so far. It definitely has higher quality freelancers. I've just started on my first project, so I'm looking forward to the final product. For those hiring a freelancer, there is a 5% of the total amount you are paying the person Market Fee and a contract fee. my contract fee was 9.99 outlook 250.00, so I'm not sure it is a percentage or always 9.99. It also allows you to pay in parts, toocalled milestone, which you will set with yhe freelancer.Anyhow, these are detailed info.

Please be aware that I do not trust this platform at the moment. My account appears to have been compromised by scammers who were able to access and initiate unauthorized communication on my behalf. I have submitted a support ticket and am currently awaiting a response
