Excellent for the basic scan/photo & record for documents, posters in the street, etc! The more complex stuff can be done in the armchair later! Some things are fiddly if you don't do them frequently! Overall though, find it incredibly useful, a bit quirky but excellent! The newer features with PDF are great but navigation isn't always intuitive & I'm finding myself asking, where is .... Far too often, i guess that'll come with use!5

Hi, I've been using CamScanner for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for scanning documents on the go. However, I've recently encountered an issue that's quite frustrating. When taking pictures of documents, the rotation of the saved image is often random. Sometimes it's portrait, sometimes landscape, and sometimes it's even upside down! This makes it difficult to organize and share the scanned documents.

By far the best document scanner available. Huge shame that there are ads, popups and obvious data collection; unfortunately there are no alternatives that do the scanning better so I'm stuck with this. Edit: Please, don't even TRY to guilt-trip with your "sorry we have to have ads to monetize". There are better alternatives to selling user data.
