In tubewell irrigated agriculture, selection of suitable pump is important for conservation of energy. The app based on the scientific formulas and theories, helps the user to select a suitable energy efficient pump based on the operating conditions at the farm. The user will enter details of the Farm in a blank form and press submit button. The required flow rate, total working head and power requirement are computed and displayed on the mobile screen.So, the user can select a suitable standardized pump from the market, as per the required operating conditions. The selection of pump based on this app will avoid wastage of energy and water, as the selected pump will operate near to best efficiency level for a longer period. The app has option to display content in different languages.
