Rain Radar & Alerts puts live precipitation on a beautiful global map. Watch rain move across your area, scrub through the past two hours, and see the short-term forecast on an animated timeline. No account or sign-in required.

LIVE RAIN RADAR
• Real-time rain overlay on a fast, interactive map
• Animated playback of the last 2 hours plus nowcast forecast
• Scrub the timeline or press play to watch rain move
• Switch between rain radar and cloud imagery
• Adjust radar opacity and choose light or dark map themes
• Follow your current location or pan anywhere in the world

SAVE YOUR PLACES
• Save locations from GPS or by tapping the map
• Weather cards show light rain, rain, heavy rain, snow, or clear skies
• Jump to any saved place on the map with one tap
• Rename, move, or reorder your favourites
• Per-place rain alert bell — you choose which places notify you

RAIN ALERTS
• Push notifications when rain is forecast near an alert-enabled place
• Master toggle in Settings, plus optional alerts for your current location
• No login, no account — alerts work straight from your device
• Smart current-location alerts avoid repeat notifications within 20 km

Rain Radar & Alerts is free with a small banner ad. Remove ads anytime with a one-time in-app purchase. An optional tip jar is available if you’d like to support development.

DATA SOURCES
Radar and satellite imagery is provided by LibreWXR (CC-BY-4.0). Cloud-cover data from Open-Meteo. See Settings → About for attribution details.

Improvements
• Current location card and map badge now show live temperature, wind, and rain timing for wherever you're looking
• Saved favourites stay on the map badge until you return to your current location
• Wind direction arrow stays aligned when you rotate the map
• Radar animation pauses briefly at the end before looping again
