PRIVACY
App blocking runs entirely on your device. Your prayer history, streaks and blocking rules are stored only on the device: no account, no cloud sync. Prayer times are fetched using your location. Install and purchase events are shared with Meta for ad measurement. Usage analytics stay off until you turn them on in Settings. No ads. No data sold.
HOW PRAYER PAUSE USES THE ACCESSIBILITY API
App blocking is powered by Android's AccessibilityService. Prayer Pause uses it only to know which app has come to the screen, so it can show your prayer pause when you open a blocked app during a prayer window. The service cannot retrieve window content: it never reads what is on your screen, never collects what you see, and never acts on your behalf. Nothing from this service leaves your device. You can turn it off at any time in Android Settings, Accessibility.
