Stack your way to the crown!
Stackrex is a two-player abstract board game that blends chess-inspired movement with tower stacking strategy.
Players take turns placing their pieces on the board or stacking them on top of others according to the rules. As the tower grows, the movement ability of the top piece becomes stronger:
1st layer (Pawn): Move 1 tile up, down, left, or right
2nd layer (Rook): Move any number of tiles in straight lines
3rd layer (Knight): Move in an L-shape
4th layer (Bishop): Move diagonally
5th layer (Queen): Move in all directions
6th layer or higher (King): Win the game if your piece is on top
You can even move your opponent’s pieces, following the same rules—so growing your tower while disrupting your rival's strategy is the key to victory.
