FireQ is a solution for fire departments and firefighters. It is a permissions-based solution that consists of two parts - an app that supports incident management, communications and mapping; and software that supports reporting, department management and record keeping. It is being used by departments and industrial emergency response teams across North America to make collecting and managing data easier for over a decade. And…it comes with real people to answer your questions and listen to your comments and suggestions.
The FireQ app is a powerful tool in the hands of firefighters. It has features that support:
• Emergency alerts and response.
• Mapping.
• Benchmarking and incident management.
• Messaging and communications.
• Firefighter safety.

AT THE OUTSET OF AN EMERGENCY
FireQ provides firefighters with supplementary dispatch alerts via true-type text, phone call, push notifications, in-app alerts and/or email. From the FireQ app, firefighters can see the details of the emergency and an incident timer.
Firefighters who use FireQ to respond are telling other firefighters that they are responding and approximately when they will arrive at the fire station.

DURING THE EMERGENCY
The FireQ app also provides firefighters with things like:
• Multiple ways to respond to an incident (by text, by phone or through the app) with distance and ETA.
• Colour-coded responders list, with qualifications, distance, and ETA.
• Incident location on an in-app map.
• Access to asset and hazard maps on an in-app map.
• Access to pre-plans reports in-app.
• The ability for firefighters to share exact coordinates of their location.
• Firefighter-to-firefighter/ group messaging & chat.
• Operational strength.

For incident commanders with more permissions, the FireQ app allows them to:
• Update incident details from the app, including use my location.
• Multiple self-dispatch options.
• Benchmarking (capturing milestones from the fireground that automatically appear in the incident report).
• Access to pre-plans and inspection reports in-app.
• The ability to re-page an incident or stand down responding firefighters.

PLUS A WHOLE LOT MORE
The FireQ app also offers features that give firefighter easy and ready access to other important information.
• Q-HUB – The QHub is place to store external links that can accessed quickly and easily by firefighters. (Think NFPA standards, AED maps, and more.)
• POLLS – FireQ polls make it easier to collect information from firefighters. (Think clothing orders, officer elections and more.)
• OFF-DUTY – Firefighters can use the FireQ app to mark themselves off-duty when they are not available to respond.
• DATA REPORTS – Firefighters can access data reports that detail the number of training and incident hours they accumulated.
• TRUCK SERVICE STATUS – Service alerts to let firefighters know when a truck has been taken out of service and when it is returned to service.
• RESPONDERS ON THE MAP – ROM shows firefighters in real-time on the incident map during an active incident (requires individual firefighter permission consent).
• EXPIRY ALERTS – Provide firefighters with reminders about expiring equipment and certifications.
• INCIDENT HISTORY – Firefighters have access to fire department incident history.
