Fire your camera without cables from your phone: bulb, intervalometer and timelapse over Bluetooth, using the same protocol as its own remote (Sony RMT-P1BT, Canon BR-E1).
Control several cameras at once, even from different brands, shooting in sync from a single session.
Astrophotography, star trails, timelapses, photogrammetry, VR/360 and multi-angle.
SHOOTING CONTROL
• Bulb for exactly the duration you set, or exposure decided by the camera.
• Intervalometer with countdown and estimated finish time.
• Anti-vibration delay and focus lock: no contact with the camera, no refocusing on every shot.
• Automatic reconnection after a Bluetooth drop: the session carries on, screen off included.
• Signal alerts before you lose a camera, with an optional alarm.
• Red night mode, to preserve dark-adapted vision.
• Presets, camera groups and session history.
BULBSYNC STICK
• A small device that stays beside the camera and runs the session from start to finish, with no phone required: lock it, walk away or switch it off. When you are back, the app catches up on what happened.
• Exposures last what you ask for: it measures how long each camera takes to open and close the shutter and compensates for it, with several cameras too.
• Several cameras and up to three groups shooting at once on a single Stick, each with its own sequence.
• Progress on its own screen, with three views to choose from, and speaker alerts if a camera drops or the battery runs low.
• Its battery gives about 6 hours of shooting (measured with 320 one-minute exposures, none missed) and over ten in standby; for a whole night, power it over USB-C from any power bank.
• We sell no hardware: it runs on an M5Stack M5StickS3 board you buy yourself. The first install is done from a desktop browser, in one click; from then on, updates arrive from the app. Requires BulbSync Pro.
WILL IT WORK WITH YOUR CAMERA?
• Sony: any Alpha with "Bluetooth Remote Control" — α7 III/IV/V, A7C, A1, A7R IV, A7S III, A9 II, A6100/6400/6600/6700, ZV-1, ZV-E10, RX100 VII and similar. α7 III and α7 IV verified in the field, with BulbSync Stick too.
• Canon: bodies with a "Remote" mode (the BR-E1 one) or "Connect to smartphone". EOS R7 verified in the field. With BulbSync Stick, same protocol, pending verification; EOS R6 Mark II only through the Stick.
• Nikon (ML-L7 remote): implementation complete, currently being verified on real bodies. If you own one, help us close it: run it with debug mode on and send us the log, or write to support@bulbsync.com.
Check your camera's menu for a Bluetooth remote control mode. The full model list, with what is verified with the app and with the Stick, is at bulbsync.app
