pLog is the industry leader in geotechnical and geo-environmental data collection technology. It is the most advanced application for collecting subsurface site investigation and environmental sampling data in the field digitally. More than 4 million feet of drilling have been logged with pLog Tablet including more than 160,000 photos of borehole locations, test pit locations, well installations, soil samples and rock samples!

pLog Tablet enhances usability by allowing users to leverage new hardware options with bigger screen sizes, faster processors, greater storage capacity and real time data sharing. (*Availability of cellular network as well as WIFI connections will determine real time capabilities).

Some of the new features available in pLog Tablet:

More customizable user interface - Customize which data collection parameters are shown in each module and in what order the items are shown.

Graphical Log Preview - The ability to view a typical borehole log in graphical format as data is entered has been a common request from our users. That dream is now a reality as you can view the log graphically on the tablet so you can better visualize the investigation as it is happening.

Real-time data sharing - The ability to send the data and/or the typical log report electronically directly from the field makes sharing data with your colleagues a simple process enabling better communication between field and office staff.

Users no longer have to install anything on their PCs to retrieve their data since it can be downloaded directly from their pLog Cloud account. A simpler, direct data import is available in both HoleBASE SI and ESdat while a gINT and LogPlot users can install the pLog Cloud connect to directly import data into these tools. All of these integration options eliminate confusion for the user and simplified installation which reduces the IT resources necessary to run the system.

Streamlined navigation - No more tapping between screens to input a specific type of data –all data can be accessed for a particular module from one screen.
