Liturgical Living is a Catholic home-screen replacement for Android. Instead of a grid of app icons, you open your phone to the day's Mass readings, the saint of the day, the liturgical season, and a quiet path to your apps. The mission is simple: bring the rhythm of the Church into the device you reach for a hundred times a day.
This is not another launcher with religious widgets stapled on. The home screen is the daily office. Distracting apps don't disappear, but they're one swipe away instead of staring at you all day.
EVERY DAY, FREE
• Daily Mass readings — 1st reading, Psalm, 2nd reading (when applicable), and Gospel, the same readings proclaimed at Mass that day. Updates automatically each morning.
• Today's reflection — a short devotional from Living Faith below the readings.
• Liturgical season and color — Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Ordinary Time, with the proper liturgical color of the day.
• Fasting & abstinence calendar — quietly tells you when today's a fast day, a Friday of Lent, or a traditional day of penance.
• Sacred art of the day — a public-domain Catholic masterpiece rotates each day on the optional home-screen widget: Caravaggio, Murillo, El Greco, Fra Angelico, Michelangelo, Rembrandt.
• The full Catholic Bible (WEB Catholic Edition) — all 73 books, fully offline.
• Verse of the Day widget.
• Devotions — the Rosary with day-appropriate mysteries, Lectio Divina on today's Gospel, Stations of the Cross, Latin prayers (Pater, Ave, Salve), and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
• Examination of conscience — for confession, organized by the Ten Commandments and state in life.
• Pinned apps as a plain alphabetical text list. No icons, no widgets in your face.
• Custom gestures — swipe to launch any app, open notifications, open the drawer.
