A recipe on the worktop, a map, a sheet of music, a tutorial: when your hands are busy, the screen should not go dark. Screen Awake keeps it on for the time you pick, from a tile in the quick settings.
HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the Awake tile: the screen stays on for five minutes.
• Tap again within five seconds to switch to 10 or 30 minutes.
• A later tap turns it off. The time left is drawn inside the tile's icon.
IT ALWAYS ENDS
• With the power button, another tap on the tile, or when the time is up.
• After a reboot it never restarts by itself.
FREE
• 5, 10 and 30 minutes, no ads
• Optional notification with countdown and Stop button
PRO — ONE PAYMENT, NO SUBSCRIPTION
• No end: stays on until you turn it off
• One tile per duration
• Set the brightness while the screen is held
• Stop on low battery
WHY "DISPLAY OVER OTHER APPS"
It is the only way an app can keep the display on from the background. The window is invisible: it covers nothing and catches no touches. Android may show a notification about it; that one comes from the system.
