'Noise Meter' is an application that calculates the sound level detected using the built-in microphone and displays the maximum, average, and peak sound pressure levels in decibels (dB).
The application displays the maximum, average, and peak sound pressure levels in decibels (dB).
With this application, you can easily measure the current environmental noise level.
All microphone audio data is used to calculate the decibel (dB) reading to the user.
No other audio or other information is collected, used, stored, transmitted, or distributed in any way.
Approximate noise level
10 dB - Breathing
20 dB - Rustling leaves
30 dB - Whisper
40 dB - Quiet library
50 dB - Moderate rainfall
60 dB - Normal conversation
70 dB - Traffic
80 dB - Alarm clocks
90 dB - Power tools
100 dB - Snowmobiles
110 dB - Car horns
120 dB - Jet planes taking off
130 dB - Ambulance
140 dB - Gun shots
