Hephaestus Forge is a vertical link-elimination puzzle mobile game that combines same-color chaining with timed decision-making. Players slide their finger across a 10-column by 14-row crystal board, connecting adjacent crystals of the same color into a path. A chain of at least two crystals clears them and earns points. Vacated slots drop down under gravity, and new crystals continuously replenish from the top, keeping the board solvable. Each successful chain resets a three-second countdown. As scores rise, the number of colors increases from four to eight, tightening the judgment window. A failed connection triggers a short vibration; if no valid chain is made within three seconds, the round ends immediately. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn, yet demand a constant balance between rhythm, path planning, and error tolerance—easy to pick up, yet strategically rich.
