Voice Lock — unlock your phone with your voice

Say your phrase and your phone opens, only for your voice. Voice Lock learns a short phrase in your own voice and shows its own lock screen whenever the screen turns off. Everything is recognised on the phone itself: your voice never leaves it.

KEY FEATURES

Unlock with your voice
• Record a 2–4 word phrase three times; setup takes under a minute
• Checks both the words and your voice, so someone else saying them doesn't unlock it
• Choose how strict the match is, from relaxed to strict
• A backup PIN always works, in a noisy room or with a sore throat

Hands-free (Premium)
• Lock your phone just by saying your lock phrase
• Wake and unlock with the screen off, ignored while the phone is in a pocket or bag
• Find your phone by saying your find phrase or by clapping twice
• It rings at full volume, vibrates and flashes the torch, even on silent

Private by design
• Voice recognition runs entirely on your phone, with no cloud
• Audio is analysed as it arrives and discarded; nothing is recorded
• Voice samples and your PIN are kept only on the phone, out of backups
• No ads

Plans
• Free: voice unlock and the backup PIN
• Premium: lock by voice, find my phone, clap to find and screen-off unlock
• Monthly or yearly with a free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase

HOW IT WORKS
1. Allow the microphone and the other permissions, each explained in the app
2. Say your unlock phrase three times
3. Set a backup PIN
4. Turn the screen off: Voice Lock is ready for your voice

GOOD TO KNOW
• Voice Lock adds a layer on top of Android's own screen lock; keep a PIN, pattern or fingerprint there for strong security
• It listens through a foreground service with an always-visible notification
• Lock by voice uses the device administrator "lock screen" permission only; turn it off in Settings before uninstalling
• Available in 21 languages

Put your phone away, pick it up, and just say the word.
