This app helps students and teachers manage lesson attendance in a few clicks.
The teacher open a new lesson and upload the list of students from Google sheets in one click. After doing so the Student opens his own app And entering his E-mail. Then the app validating the check in using indoor location checking and the teacher automatically gets his (the student's) check in. When all the students have checked in, the teacher can export the attendance back to Goggle sheets. Thats it!!
This is the teacher's edition. Using this app the teacher can upload the attendance list from Google sheets and create a new course that saves locally on his device.
When a new lesson begins the teacher presses the course and creates a new lesson giving it a name. From here all the students opens the Check in Class - Student Edition, which is totally free and enters their emails.
The system validating their presence in the room using in-door location check - Basically in opens a HotSpot and checks if the students gets the HotSpot's signal, if so they are in the room and their attendance is saved!
When all the students finished enrolling themselves the teacher closes the lesson and export the update attendance list back to Google Sheets and that's it.
Important notes:
In order to validate the student presence in the room a Local Hotspot is opened if the teachers mobile device has no sim, during this time he won't have an internet connection but no worries all the attendance is saved and when you get back online and close the HotSpot you will get all the students check in immediately after getting back online!
For the location check the Fine location permission is required.
In order to acmes you Google sheets students list we asks for your accounts permission, once granted just paste the Google sheet file link give the course a name and the institute of studying and create the course. Once you create the lesson the app reads the sheet and saves it on the database only for the time the lesson opens for registration. Once the lesson is saved and closed all the data is removed from the servers and exported to a new column in the original sheet whose link you entered.
It's as simple as that!
No need to read the student's name one by one just let us do all the work for you.
