DigWorld is a location-based strategy game played on the real map of your town. Walk to discover the world around you, gather its resources and build an empire from the Stone Age to the Information Age.

WALK AND DISCOVER
The map is covered by fog. Wherever you walk, it clears and shows what lies there: forests, quarries, ore, wild game, native settlements and treasure chests. Your phone's GPS is your way through the world.

GATHER AND BUILD
• Gather wood, stone, flint, berries and ore by walking up to them.
• Found your base wherever you like – at home, in a park – and grow it from a campfire into a city.
• Research in the library, craft tools and weapons at the workbench, build smelters, farms, markets, barracks and walls.
• Turn citizens into workers who gather for you along the streets, even while the game is closed.

TEN EPOCHS
From flint and berries to bronze, iron, steel, gunpowder, electricity, the atom and computers. Every epoch brings its own research, buildings, soldiers and resources on the map.

YOUR CHARACTER
Gain levels, spend points on health, endurance, strength and defence, and equip weapons, shields, helmets, armor, rings and amulets. Brew health and endurance potions. Fights go in rounds and go on even with the game closed.

FIGHT, TRADE AND ALLY
• Fight native settlements and take their loot.
• Train an army and send it against other players' bases – or defend your own with walls, towers and traps.
• Rob workers on their way, ambush armies, take outposts.
• Trade at the market with merchants and with players around you.
• Form alliances: chat, send reinforcements, defend each other.

TREASURE CHESTS
Treasure chests of five levels lie on the map for everyone to find. The best ones are locked – research Lockpicking and hope your lockpick holds.

FAIR TO EVERYONE
No ads, and nothing that makes you stronger is for sale: no resources, no coins, no speed-ups, no armies. Walking and playing is what makes you grow.

YOUR HOME STAYS PRIVATE
Other players never see where your base really is – only near it – and they never see you at all.

MADE BY ONE PERSON
DigWorld is not made by a studio. It was planned for years and built by one developer, a player first. Feedback is welcome: Menu → Send feedback in the game.

PLAY SAFELY
Look where you go, not at the screen. Respect traffic and private property, and never play while driving.
