The specialized Mobile Referee Application is designed to streamline and centralize the two most critical real-time workflows for sports officials: managing game assignments and processing compensation. It serves as an essential digital hub, connecting the official with the assigning organizer efficiently and transparently.

This mobile app is free for referees. Access is provided by your league or assigning organization.

1. Assignments and Scheduling

The application's core functionality is centered around efficient and dynamic scheduling. Once access is granted by the assigning organization, the referee gains access to a comprehensive, personalized schedule. This feature does more than just list game times; it provides a holistic overview of the official's duties and required team members:

Personalized Schedule Delivery: The referee receives instant notifications and a detailed, up-to-date calendar view of all assigned games, including the date, time, location, and league/event details.

Partner and Crew Management: For each assignment, the app clearly displays the entire officiating crew, including all assigned partners such as other referees, umpires, linesmen, scorekeepers, and timekeepers. This ensures seamless pre-game coordination and accountability.

Confirmation and Acceptance Mechanism: A vital component of the scheduling workflow is the opportunity to accept and confirm participation. Upon receiving a new assignment, the referee can review and confirm their availability. This mechanism reduces scheduling errors, ensures timely commitment from the official, and provides the assigning authority with real-time status updates on all games.

2. Compensation and Pay Management

The second critical workflow the app manages is the transparent and timely processing of official compensation. The app transforms the often manual and delayed pay process into a modern, streamlined experience:

Anticipated Pay Notifications: The Referee App notifies the official of their expected or anticipated pay for completed games, providing financial clarity following an assignment.

Digital PayStub Delivery: Utilizing the integrated PayStubs feature, the official can receive secure, digital documentation of their earnings. These pay stubs detail the compensation breakdown, including the base rate for the game, any additional fees (e.g., travel), and applicable deductions.

Role-Based Compensation Tracking: Compensation is calculated based on officiating role and games worked, ensuring accurate and fair payment for every confirmed assignment.
