O aplikaciji

You have a repertoire. The wedding disaster. The ferret. The one about your father and the boat. What you do not have is a record of who has already heard which one — so you find out mid-sentence, from the look on their face.

DejaTold is a private card catalog for the stories you tell. Every story gets a card with a catalog number, and every telling gets stamped onto its circulation record: who heard it, and when. Before you see someone, you can check what is still fresh for them.

THE CATALOG
Story cards with a title, a gist, and a note. Three sorts that are actual features: Fresh material, Getting dusty, Overtold.

THE STAMP
Marking a story told is a press-and-hold rubber stamp that prints the date onto the card. No two prints land quite the same.

THE REPEAT GUARD
Pick someone who has already heard it and the card says so, with the dates. It never blocks you. Tell it anyway if you want to.

FRESH FOR ANYONE
Open a person and see what they have not heard yet, plus the riffle: hold to shuffle the deck, let go to draw one.

QUICK-LOG
Home-screen widget, app shortcut, or a Siri phrase, into a one-screen flow you can finish in fifteen seconds while you walk to the car.

BRIEFS
Turn them on and DejaTold reads your calendar on this device, sees a name it knows, and tells you what is fresh before you arrive.

YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS
The catalog never leaves your phone. There is no account, no sync and no server. App lock is free. Backup is a JSON file you own, free in both directions. Works on a plane.

FREE, AND PRO
Free: 15 story cards, 10 people, the whole loop, share cards, app lock, backup. Pro is one payment, forever: unlimited cards and people, Briefs, the Night Archive theme, the Unfiltered Archivist, the Circulation Report, and no ads.
