ExplorePDF is a set of everyday PDF tools that works on your Android phone or tablet. It has no permission to use the internet: your documents stay on your device unless you choose to share them, and there is no account to create.

Read and find
Open a PDF from any app or from your files, zoom smoothly, search its text, and use its own bookmarks or your own. Recent documents are a tap away.

Arrange pages
Turn, move, duplicate and delete pages, or insert the pages of another PDF, with Undo and Redo. Nothing changes your original: Save a Copy writes a new file you name, and checks it first.

Fill forms
Type into text fields, tick boxes and choose options in PDF forms, then save a filled copy.

Sign
Draw or type your signature once and place it on any page. This is a picture of your signature, not a digital signature.

Mark up
Highlight, underline and strike out text, draw, add shapes, notes and stamps. See every comment and mark in one list, and export a summary as text or Markdown.

Scan paper
Photograph pages with the camera, adjust the corners of each page, and save them as one PDF. The camera is used only when you open Scan.

Recognize text
Recognize English text on scanned pages on your device, so search can find it, and save a searchable copy that looks exactly the same. Recognition reads English only; text in other languages may not be recognized, or may be recognized wrongly.

Make new PDFs
Print as a Booklet, put several pages on each sheet, make pages the same size, split into files, save chosen pages as a new PDF, combine PDFs, turn images into a PDF, and make a smaller copy without changing how pages look. Each tool shows what it will make before you save.

Print and share
Print through Android's printing, or share a copy with any app. Share with AI App shows exactly which text or file would leave ExplorePDF, then opens Android's share menu; nothing is sent until you pick an app there yourself.

Shortcuts
Long press the app icon to start Scan, Combine PDFs, Turn Images into a PDF, Split into Files or Print as a Booklet directly.

Help is in the app, with a way to write to support from your own email app.
