Hell Sweet Kingdom does not ask you to find three in a row. It asks you to draw a box. Press one sweet, drag to another, and the rectangle between the two lights up. Let go and the most common colour inside that rectangle burns away, as long as there are at least four of it in the box. Everything else inside is left exactly where it was.
That rule changes what a good move looks like. Colours do not have to touch each other, they only have to share a region, so a scattered handful of one colour in the corner of the pit is a perfectly good target. The score grows with the square of the number burned, which means one box containing seven of a colour is worth far more than two separate boxes of four, and a box may be no larger than four squares by four, so greed has a limit.
The pressure comes from below. Every three boxes a fresh row pushes up from the floor of the pit and everything already there moves one row closer to the ceiling. Let the stack touch the top and the realm is lost. Burning quickly keeps the pit low, and clearing the middle of the stack lets everything above drop down and buys you time.
Two tools are given at the start of each realm. Frost removes every sweet of one colour from the pit, and sink drops the whole stack by one row, which is the emergency brake when the ceiling is close. Realms raise the score goal, add colours and speed up the rise.
The realm gate remembers every realm you have held, the chronicle keeps your totals, eight awards follow long term goals, and a local ranking board sets your best realm against a field of rivals. Everything works offline with no accounts, no purchases of any kind and no advertising. Settings hold one control which erases all saved data.
Drag a box around four sweets of one colour and burn them before the pit fills.
