Founded at 2002 with the divine cause of imparting proficiency in Dance and Music at Erode. The journey began in a humble way, but later the institution comprised of more than 200 students.

At Krishna Kalalaya they have had the training to exhibit their talents on this divine art at various levels. In addition to that, they had the prospect to know about the rudiments of dance through many workshops. On the another hand, Krishna Kalalaya has also promoted the students to widen their human values.

Krishna Kalalaya has repositioned in Palakkad to persist its excellence in Dance and Music, after the marriage of Ramya to Sri. Sivaramakrishnan, a successful violinist. Together they are propagating this divine art forms in the name of "Krishna Kalalaya". This institution was inaugurated on June 19th 2011 with the strength of 30 students. Now this institution has more than 150 students.

The objective of this institution is to spread this art form in a divine way by guiding the students to develop their choreography skills. Apart from Dance, the students are also imparted spiritual, Moral and Human values to flourish as responsible human beings. Through the Medium of Dance, the important qualities of self discipline & persistance, traits that will help focus their mind in all walks of life is instilled in students. For the students Krishna Kalalaya is Home Away from Home



The pandemic since 2020 has brought in many changes in the field of art and learning through online has become the natural order of the day. We at Krishna Kalalaya provide online classes to students both in India and abroad to ensure regular practice and developing their skills from the comforts of their home. We have now resumed face to face offline classes as usual so that students can join us in any of our branches. Now, both online and offline classes go hand in hand.

We have also launched an app for dance and music aspirants which is a one stop solution for all their dance needs. Designed to be a comprehensive app which includes learning materials, dance videos, covers and an online store for practice sarees jewellery and accessories, we hope this will be beneficial to all students in common.
