iperf3 TCP/UDP Client & Server brings the popular iperf3 network testing tool to Android — with a clean, Android-friendly UI.
Measure real throughput (bandwidth) between two endpoints and quickly spot bottlenecks in Wi-Fi, 5G/LTE, VPN, or Ethernet setups.
Important (so expectations are clear):
This is NOT a one-tap “ISP speed test”. iperf3 measures performance between a client and an iperf3 server. You’ll need either:
• an existing iperf3 server on your network (router/NAS/server/PC), or
• a second Android device running Server mode in this app.
Typical use cases:
• Verify Wi-Fi upgrades (new router/AP), channel changes, or AP placement
• Compare Wi-Fi vs cellular vs VPN throughput
• Troubleshoot slow LAN/WAN links and validate network changes
• Check link quality in the field, lab, or data center
• Measure UDP performance (jitter / packet loss) for real-time traffic scenarios
What you can do:
• Run iperf3 as a Client or as a Server (use your phone as the endpoint)
• TCP and UDP throughput tests
• Configure host, port, duration, parallel streams, reverse mode, and more
• See detailed per-interval results and summaries after each run
• Save results and logs for later reference
• Works over Wi-Fi, cellular (4G/5G), VPN, and wired (Ethernet) connections
• Simple, fast workflow — designed for engineers and power users
Quick start:
1. Start Server mode on one device (or use any reachable iperf3 server).
2. Enter the server IP/host and port in Client mode.
3. Choose TCP or UDP, adjust options if needed, and run the test.
4. Review results and keep logs for troubleshooting and comparison.
If you need a lightweight “tap once and get Mbps” app, this probably isn’t it. But if you want accurate, repeatable iperf3 measurements and real diagnostics — this is built for that.
