Boring Data Usage Monitor

O aplikaciji

Boring Data Usage is a simple data usage monitor that turns your monthly mobile data plan into a daily budget. Enter how much data your plan gives you and the day it renews, and the app shows how much mobile data you can still use today.

The daily target adapts as you go. Use less today and tomorrow's budget grows; use more and it shrinks, so your data lasts until the renewal day. Prefer a fixed number? Switch to the same target every day.

Today at a glance
• Data left today in a clear ring, with today's usage and the daily target
• Billing cycle progress: data used, data left and days until renewal
• Plan pace: how far you are under or over an even split of your plan

Statistics
• Daily usage chart for this billing cycle or the last one
• Total, daily average and your busiest day
• End of cycle estimate at your current pace
• Mobile data per app, with hotspot and tethering in its own row

Home screen widgets
• Data left today: a 2x2 ring
• Data usage overview: today and the whole billing cycle side by side
• Widgets refresh on their own every few minutes while you use your phone

Your plan, your billing cycle
• Monthly data in MB or GB
• Renewal day from 1 to 31; in shorter months the plan renews on the last day
• Dual SIM phones: all SIMs are counted together
• Units match Android's own data usage screen (1 GB = 1024 MB)

Private by design
• Reads the mobile data counters Android already keeps, through the Usage access permission
• No internet permission: your usage numbers never leave your phone
• No account, no sign up

Boring Data Usage counts mobile data only. Wi-Fi traffic does not use your plan, so it is not included.
