Find My Train is a lightweight and reliable app that helps users track trains in Bangladesh in real time. It provides information on train locations, schedules, and routes, helping passengers plan their journeys with confidence and ease.
It is an independent project designed to make train travel in Bangladesh more accessible and convenient for everyone.
Key features: Live train tracking uses GPS data voluntarily shared by passengers to show current locations, movement, and stop information. Live tracking requires an internet connection for updates. Search and route details let you find trains by name, number, or station and view complete route information, including estimated arrival times. Offline access lets you download routes and schedules once so you can view them later without an internet connection. An active connection is required only for the initial data download and for real-time updates. The app is built with Flutter for smooth performance, a clean interface, and fast loading times.
Privacy and analytics: Find My Train may collect limited, non-personal analytics data such as usage statistics and crash logs to improve performance and fix bugs. No sensitive or personally identifiable location data is shared with others.
Permissions: Location (optional) is used only for the "I'm Inside" feature to help estimate your train's live position. Network access is required to download route data and enable live tracking. Offline use is supported for cached schedules and routes. The "I'm Inside" feature can show your train position locally without connectivity; a connection is needed only to share your updates with others.
