Prepit Printer is the official mobile companion for restaurants using the Prepit platform. Connect your Android device to a receipt printer and let orders print automatically — no manual steps, no missed tickets.

Built for busy kitchens and front-of-house teams, Prepit Printer keeps your printer linked to your Prepit account so new orders, receipts, and summaries arrive in real time and print reliably, even when the app is running in the background.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign in with your Prepit printer account (provided by your restaurant administrator)
2. Connect your device to a compatible receipt printer over WiFi or Bluetooth
3. Keep the printer link active — orders print automatically as they come in from Prepit

AUTOMATIC ORDER PRINTING

When a new order is placed in Prepit, the app receives it instantly and sends a formatted receipt to your printer. After a successful print, the receipt is acknowledged back to Prepit so your team always knows what has been printed.

If the app reconnects after being offline, it automatically fetches and prints any receipts that were missed, then confirms them with the backend — so nothing falls through the cracks.

PRINTER CONNECTION OPTIONS

• WiFi / Network — Connect to ESC/POS-compatible network printers using the printer’s IP address. Ideal for Epson and similar thermal printers on your local network.

• Bluetooth — Connect to paired Star Bluetooth printers (such as Star TSP100) for a cable-free setup.

Once connected, a persistent foreground link keeps your printer and Prepit account in sync. Receipts continue to print in the background while you use other apps or lock your screen.

RICH, PROFESSIONAL RECEIPTS

Receipts are fully controlled by Prepit’s backend, so your restaurant can update layout, branding, and content without updating the app:

• Restaurant logo
• Styled text — bold, underline, alignment, and multiple font sizes
• Itemized orders with quantities, prices, and totals
• QR codes — e.g. e-tax receipts, Google Maps links, and more
• Arabic and RTL text support for multilingual receipts

DAILY SUMMARIES

When your team requests a summary, Prepit sends it directly to the printer — perfect for end-of-day reports and shift handovers.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Prepit Printer is for restaurants, cafés, and food service businesses already using Prepit. A printer user account must be created for your location by your Prepit administrator before you can sign in.
